Pecorino Romano is an hard or semi-hard cheese from Italy that is produced exclusively with whole fresh sheep's milk. Being a D.O.P. cheese, the production of Pecorino Romano is limited to areas of the Lazio, region of Sardinia and the province of Grosseto, in Tuscany.
With its unmistakable aromatic and spicy taste, Pecorino Romano is fantastic grated on pasta, but also plain for a special appetizer.
