Lentils Black Beluga Organic
Shiny black in colour and easy to cook, these Organic Beluga Lentils are indigenous to Syria. They cook quickly and are higher in amino acids than French, green or red lentils. It requires no pre-soaking with a firm, low-starch texture, and nutty, earthy flavour. Used in cooking in much the same manner as Lentils du Puy.
They make for a spectacular presentation when used as an accompaniment to cooked salmon or pan seared scallops. Superb in a salads with roasted red and yellow peppers or used as a garnish for cream of tomato soup.
