Big Blue Moma began in 2012 when Karie Wylie took trip to Ghana, Karie was inspired by the beauty of Ghana's handicrafts and conceived a simple import business that would allow her to share her passion for what she had discovered and help the people she had met there. 

Each African Basket is a unique masterpiece, handwoven by talented artisans in their homes in Bolgatanga, Ghana. The intricate patterns and vibrant colors showcase the individuality and artistic expression of the weaver, making every piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.
