The Wilkin family has been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and today the business is run by Peter Wilkin, great grandson of our founder.

The Little Scarlet strawberry, a tiny wild variety, originally brought to England by the Wilkin family in the early 1900s. Fifty fresh, ripe Little Scarlet strawberries are gently cooked and packed into each glass jar within hours of being picked. The Little Scarlet, each no bigger than the size of a dime, is unique to Tiptree and grown only on their farm. It's been grown for over a hundred years on their farm and is prized for its intense flavor and fragrance.
